Myrtle Cottage guest house is a thatched early 16th century dwelling situated in Porlock a stroll from the sea, at the foot of Exmoor. The beauty of the landscape defies description. The bed and breakfast accommodation is open all year round (with a blazing log fire to keep you as warm as toast). All rooms en-suite and non smoking. Coffee, Tea, Chocolate, Biscuits in rooms. For your convenience, guests are provided with a front door key as well as the room key. At Myrtle Cottage we pride ourselves on our bed and big breakfast. When we say big breakfast, we're not just talking about quantity. More to the point we're referring to our quality. We use the very best local produce, including eggs and bacon from local farms and even the tea and coffee come from the Porlock village merchant. Breakfast is normally served from 8.30 to 10.00 am (earlier or later by request) and we are happy to cater for vegetarians. Situated at one end of the newly created Coleridge Way and near the start of the 500 mile South West Coast Path not to mention the miles and miles of paths within the Exmoor National Park, Porlock is a fantastic location for the walker.
